FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CASPER – Liz Cheney, candidate for U.S. Congress, released the following statement after FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee:
“By the FBI Director’s own admission, Hillary Clinton is guilty of criminal behavior. We now know she acted with gross negligence in the mishandling of our nation’s most sensitive information. She repeatedly lied to the American people about her handling of classified material, including while she was under oath in front of the U.S. Congress. The FBI Director’s decision not to prosecute is a miscarriage of justice that continues a pattern that has lasted over 25 years for the Clintons.
“Since the start of their public careers, the Clintons have repeatedly and consistently engaged in conduct that is morally and criminally corrupt. Remember selling access to the Lincoln Bedroom? Remember taking illegal campaign contributions from Chinese donors? Remember Monica Lewinsky? Remember all the women abused by Bill Clinton, the same women Hillary Clinton worked so hard to publicly discredit and shame? Remember the Clinton Foundation and all the foreign governments paying Bill and Hillary while she served as our nation’s highest diplomat? Remember the lies to the American people about Benghazi?
“The Clintons have always believed they are above the law because time and again they are not held to account for their actions. It is now up to the American people to ensure that this morally and criminally corrupt couple never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office or our nation’s intelligence information.”
