CASPER – This morning, Liz Cheney released the following statement on the fifteen-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The fifteenth anniversary of 9/11 is a time to remember loved ones lost, to honor the valor of our Armed Forces and first responders, and to strengthen our resolve amid the growing threat of radical Islamic terrorism.  In the aftermath of 9/11, terror gave way to acts of extraordinary courage and fear transformed to decisive action. Fifteen years later, we must re-dedicate ourselves to restoring America’s strength and power in order to defeat our enemies and defend our freedom.

Liz Cheney is a proud Constitutional conservative and an advocate for a strong America. She has practiced law and served in the State Department, including as the second-ranking official responsible for U.S. policy in the Middle East. Liz is a member of the International Board of Advisors at the University of Wyoming and previously served on the board of Rivers of Recovery, a Wyoming based organization that provides rehabilitation for military veterans.
